What To Expect
Bringing home a puppy can be a very exciting time! You have waited 6 months, 8 months or even a year to bring your puppy home. And you probably think that because you did your homework and researched breeders that your puppy is going to come home perfectly behaved, socialized, crate trained and potty trained. If this is what you expect, you may want to rethink your decision to bring a puppy into your home.
Although as a breeder I put forth every effort to ensure these puppies leave here the best and most prepared for the world they can be, there is still work to be done once your puppy gets home.
In the first 6 months you can expect long nights, exhausting schedules, socializing and training your puppy. They will try your patience at every turn and need a lot of structure and love.
